Empowering Communities Through Service

 For more than a century, Sertomans have been at the forefront of volunteer service in communities throughout North America. In fact, this long-standing passion for giving back is woven into the fabric of our organization and within our very name: SERvice TO MAnkind. 

The Port Arthur Sertoma Club is a nonprofit civic service organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in Southeast Texas through volunteerism, charitable giving, and community partnerships. As a local chapter of Sertoma International, the club embraces the organization's mission of "Service to Mankind," with a strong emphasis on supporting hearing health, youth development, and community service initiatives. 

The club is made up of community-minded volunteers who work together to identify local needs and provide meaningful support through fundraising, service projects, scholarships, and partnerships with other nonprofit organizations. Funds raised by the Port Arthur Sertoma Club are reinvested directly into the local community, helping individuals and organizations make a lasting impact.

In addition to supporting community events, the Port Arthur Sertoma Club actively participates in volunteer efforts throughout the year, partnering with local schools, civic organizations, and charitable groups. Members believe in strengthening the community by investing their time, talents, and resources where they are needed most.

As part of Sertoma International, founded in 1912, the Port Arthur Sertoma Club also supports the national mission of promoting hearing health through education, advocacy, and assistance programs. While each local club determines its own service priorities, all Sertoma clubs share the common goal of making their communities stronger through compassionate service and leadership. 

Today, the Port Arthur Sertoma Club continues to serve Southeast Texas by bringing together business leaders, professionals, and volunteers who are passionate about giving back. Through fellowship, fundraising, and hands-on community involvement, the club strives to make a positive and lasting difference in the lives of those it serves.
